Occupational Therapy

Bethany Stokes is a licensed and registered occupational therapist specializing in pediatric bowel and bladder dysfunction and women’s pelvic health. With a clinical background in treating pediatric patients and listening to mothers who often prioritize their children’s needs over their own, Bethany developed a unique perspective. Her work in pediatrics sparked an interest in addressing the needs of both children and their mothers. It was during her pregnancy with her daughter that she realized the significant need for a pelvic health specialist in her community. This realization led her to focus on providing quality occupational therapy for pelvic health in McMinn County and surrounding areas.

A native of McMinn County, Bethany graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan University with a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. During her studies, she took a special interest in the mental health aspects of the pediatric population during adolescence and young adulthood. She draws inspiration from her brother, Zeke, who has overcome numerous barriers in his life and serves as a light to others. Outside of the clinic, Bethany enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Hunter, and their daughter, Mackenzie, as well as traveling to explore new places. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Directors for The Hearing and Speech Foundation and is an Adjunct Professor at Tennessee Wesleyan University.
